P.E. Teacher Kirk Sampson
A man smiles in front of a school marqueeMr. Sampson brings energy, heart, and pure joy to our campus every single day. His favorite part of being a PE teacher? Playing games right alongside his students. Being a “kid at heart” allows him to connect with students on a different level — and it shows. His goal is bigger than physical fitness; he hopes every student discovers an activity or game they love enough to enjoy for a lifetime.

What keeps him inspired? Watching students grow. Whether it’s a student scoring during a game and absolutely losing their minds with excitement, or seeing steady improvement over time, he believes success belongs to everyone. And in his class, students feel that.

When asked what lesson he hopes students remember forever, he couldn’t choose just one — from the powerful wheelchair unit with ASIS that builds empathy and awareness, to the all-time favorite game of Tchoukball, his class is about inclusion, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences.

Thank you, Mr. Sampson, for building confidence, character, and community through movement. Your impact goes far beyond the gym.
Front Office Team
We are so grateful for our incredible Morgan Maxwell K-8 office staff — Ms. Celina Altamirano (Office Manager), Ms. Alicia Bissonnette (Attendance Tech), and Mr. Manuel Contreras (Technology Services).

Their dedication, kindness, and commitment to our students and families make our school a welcoming and supportive place every single day.

Thank you for all you do to keep Morgan Maxwell running smoothly — with smiles, heart, and outstanding customer service!
Crossing Guard - Noah
We’re showing some love to one of our everyday heroes who keeps our Mountain Lions safe and smiling! Meet Noah, one of our amazing crossing guards at Morgan Maxwell
Get to know Noah:
  • Noah has been a crossing guard at Morgan Maxwell for three years and counting.
  • His favorite part of the job is the kids, who make their day.
  • A fun fact about Noah is that he can do 50 push-ups in one minute.
  • Noah enjoys Mountain Lion students because they’re fun to talk to and relatable, reminding them of their own school days.
One piece of advice from Noah for students today:
If you’re having a bad day, remember the day is almost over. Once you’re home, you’re home — don’t bring your frustrations with you. Relax. Tomorrow is another chance to make it better.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow’s a new mystery.

Thank you, Noah, for your heart, positivity, and dedication to our students every single day. Morgan Maxwell is better because of you!
